Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She is a proponent of animal rights. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. She began working as a photography assistant and then turned to acting and modeling. The first two films she appeared in she received recognition and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw was divorced three times.
