Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer who is best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. In 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre a 1957 drama film. This movie was an enormous success and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Louise joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
