Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28 1998 at Los Angeles California) is an American performer, actress and vocalist. Ariel started her career in acting young, appearing in an Cool Whip commercial at age 6. On CBS's Listen Up! program, Ariel got her first TV role at just 7 years old. Monk Bones followed, as did ER. Gretchen played in the Disney Original Channel animated show Phineas and Ferb in 2007. The following year, she got her breakthrough live-action character as Alex Dunphy on the hit television series Modern Family. Along together with Modern Family's Modern Family cast have won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding performance by an Ensemble on a Comedy Series four times. Ariel continues to do voice-over work for movies like ParaNorman Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, as well as Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel has earned a Purple belt in Taekwondo.
