April Bowlby has been an American actor and model for more than 20 years. She's played Kandi in the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actor most well-known for her role as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Kandi the TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. Modeling was her first career, then films and TV shows. In CSI: Crime Scene Investigation her debut TV role was in an episode with a background character. Then she landed the breakout role in the role of Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby was recognized internationally for the Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. She was the main character of the character Rita Farr/Elastigirl on the American web-based series Titans. Bowlby will reprise her role in a spinoff series from The Doom Patrol series. Bowlby has also appeared in TV film Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. After her roles on screen in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film), and From Prada, to Nada she debuted on big screens with All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby was born in Manteca California in her early years and went to East Union High School. Prior to deciding on a career in acting, she studied French as well as ballet classes at Moorpark College. While studying drama with Ivana Chubb, she was offered a leading role (Kandi on Two and a Half Men) just a few months after the time of her Hollywood debut. Bowlby was a guest star on a number of TV series like CSI: NY which featured Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. In addition, she starred as Meg as part of How I Met Your Mother. Bowlby played Natasha recently in All Roads Lead Home, a movie from 2007 about a girl aged 12 that loses her mother in an accident in the car. Bowlby is playing Mia on the 2008 film The Slammin Salmon. The actress lives in Los Angeles. She has naturally red hair, and blue eye color. She has never married and she has no children.
