Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress to Benito Mussolini). The siblings of Luciana are not known. Luciana was a student at the local high school, and after graduating in 1955 she studied Naval Engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan. It was her only female in the class. Luciana first became fashion models after only two years. Her professional career took a turn afterwards, when by pure luck, she was offered her first role on screen in Three Coins in the Fountain. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. After the wedding in 1960 they recorded a film entitled Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana received the custody of Charles, born 13 June 1961. The couple split the following year. Luciana who was a performer and producer who was in a relationship with Tony Athony from 1962 to in 1970. Tony Athony had been attracted by Luciana's performance in Green Slime.
